East India Company. George Rous and George Dallas, counsel for the Company, and George Hardinge and Thomas Plumer, counsel for the Directors, all
criticize the bill. This document was published by order of the Committee of Proprietors, a body appointed to monitor the company’s rights and maintain
their privileges.)
