Crown Lawyer”. The barrister was identified as John Rayner, the author of several other titles including “The ancient dialogue concerning the
Exchequer” (1758) and “A digest of law concerning libels” (1770). The table of contents for all three parts begins on the twenty-third unnumbered page.
