1750 Act of Parliament to regulate and restrain paper bills of credit in colonies and plantations of Rhode Island, Providence Plantations, Connecticut, Massachusetts Bay and New Hampshire, as well as to present the same from being legal tenders in payments of money. Included was the penalty of immediate dismissal of any governor who allows the issuing of paper bills or bills of credit after the effective date.
