MS Collection, Unit 4, The Mitford Collection: n.a., offerings as of 2019, 4 online volumes. (The Mitford Collection of manuscripts was contained on
25 of the 256 microfilm reels comprising the filmed edition of the manuscripts held by the Library of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. As
of 2019, some 15% of the Mitford Collection reels had been digitized and mounted on LLMC-Digital. In the online version all of the contents from each
microfilm reel are contained in one single online “volume”; with the volumes numbered in the same order as the microfilm reels. The first entry of the
online run is reserved for an LLMC-prepared Short Guide to the available manuscripts. Users are reminded that a very erudite guide to the manuscripts
is provided in the Catalogue of the Manuscripts in the Library of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple: ed. by J. Conway Davies, Vol. 1-3; which
is also available on LLMC-Digital. Page references to the Davies Catalogue are provided in the LLMC Short Guide for the block of materials contained
in each online volume. Davies’ essays on John Freeman Mitford {First Lord Redesdale} himself, and on the Mitford Collection, are contained in that
work in Vol. 1, on pp. 70-72 and 72-75 respectively. Page references to the Davies Catalogue for the block of Mitford materials contained in each online
volume are provided in the LLMC Short Guide for Unit 1 discussed above.
