1925, U.S./G.B., The R.T. Roy (U.S. Reply)
American and British Claims Arbitration: The R.T. Roy, Reply of the United States: 44p., Washington, Government Printing Office, 1924. (The U.S.
reply in a case involving the seizure of an American fishing vessel on Lake Huron by a Canadian inspector of Fisheries in 1908. The U.S. argues that the
ship was fishing in U.S. waters and attacks the evidence submitted by His Majesty’s Government. They argue it is impossible to fix with absolute
certainty the position of the R.T. Roy when it was seized. The U.S. Memorial in this case is LLMC 11040 and the Award is LLMC 11042.)
