|
Address to the Right Honourable Lord President Hope and to members of the College of Justice on the method of collecting and reporting decisions: attributed to Robert Hannay, 65p., Edinburgh, Printed for David Brown, 1821. (In 1816 the Solicitor General asked that a committee be appointed to consider various methods of collecting court decisions and to write a report. This address, attributed to Robert Hannay a Scottish barrister, points out that after five years no report has been released. He then provides a history of collecting and preserving the decisions of the Courts of Justice and addresses such topics as what decisions should be transcribed and how they should be collected.)
