circuit of 1833; With a table and index: by Sir Gregory A. Lewin, Vol. 1-2, London, S. Sweet, 1834. (Tables of cases start on pp. viii & vii of Vols. 1-2
respectively. Indexes start on pp. 299 & 329 of the two volumes. The “crown side” of the K.B./Q.B. courts referred to its criminal jurisdiction. Judges
of the courts “rode circuit” from town to town and held sessions at which those serious criminal cases which had accumulated since the last “assize”
held in that area were tried. Minor criminal matters were handled at any time by the local magistrates.)
