Journals of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario: 1867-, Toronto, var. govpr., 1867-. (After the British conquest of French Canada, the core of the larger area comprising modern Ontario was first governed as the separate British Colony of Upper Canada, 1791-1840. From 1840 to 1867 Upper and Lower Canada, i.e. Quebec, were united under one government in the British Province of Canada. After Canadian Federation Uppewr Canada became independent once again as the Canadian Province of Ontario. From the beginning the province opted for a unicameral legislature, the Legislative Assembly, which met annually in Toronto. As of 6/11, LLMC’s run of this title, 1867-1949, lacks vols. 30, 33, 78-79 & 81-82. The gift or loan for scanning purposes of gap-filler volumes, or volume post-1949, would be much appreciated.)
