1832, Murdoch's Epitome of the Laws
Epitome of the Laws of Nova-Scotia: by Beamish Murdoch, Vol. 1-4, Halifax, pr. by Joseph Howe, 1832-32. (In a note to the Table of Contents of Vol.
4, Murdoch explains that he originally planned a 5-volume work, with Vols. 1-4 covering the general laws of Nova Scotia through 1832, and a Vol. 5
covering both the local acts still in force and the acts of the session of 1833. LLMC has not located a copy of a volume 5 in any of its sources, and we
suspect that no Vol. 5 was ever issued.)
