passed between James Bruce, 8th Earl of Elgin, and Henry George Howick, the 3rd Earl Grey, during those years when the Earl of Elgin was Governor
General of Canada and Earl Grey was Secretary of State for War & the Colonies, and also other miscellaneous papers relating to subjects of Canadian
interest. All of the letters are in English, but some of the exhibits are in French.)
