Reports of the Attorney General of Arkansas: 1877/78-1944, Little Rock, state printers, 1878-1944, all published. The first known reports of the Arkansas A.G. date to the biennial report of 1877/78. After the 1943/44 biennial publication ceased. The fact that in many of the states there were differing patterns of publication for the A.G reports and opinions makes for a confusing literature. To minimize confusion in its online offerings, LLMC has chosen to group all of the U.S. state attorney generals’ reports and opinions in two separate series for each state. For the Arkansas A.G. Opinions, see the separate Opinions series elsewhere on this site. (Documents that were part of the Early State Records were digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of Congress and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill).
