Compiled pursuant to a joint resolution of the legislature: by John A. Warth, ii+1267p, Wheeling 7 Charleston, West Virginia Printing Co., 1887. (The
first set of compiled laws for the State of West Virginia was issued in 1868. Warth came out with his first revision of that 1868 code, which he entitled
the “Amended Code,” in 1884. Thus, the words “Second Edition” in the title of the present work alludes to his 1884 work.)
