1860, Report on address of the Gen. Assembly of Georgia
Report of the address of a portion of the members of the General Assembly of Georgia, published in Charleston in 1860. The report discussed the
address of some member of the General Assembly of Georgia, who urged the people of South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, in conventions, to take no
separate action until a general convention of southern states had reported its conclusions. This report was a reiteration of the reasons why South Carolina
decided to pass its ordinance of secession. See LLMC #21134-41 for related documents. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by
the Library of Congress).
