August 25, 1774 manuscript of the Provincial Convention Resolutions, which was held at New Bern, North Carolina. While an initial statement of
support of their king, the members greatly objected to the acts which were imposed by Parliament without representation. Of note, one such resolution
categorized such acts as "illegal and unconstitutional." (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Department of Archives and
