Volumes from 1868-1872 include a separately paged section with the title "An Analysis and Classification of the rules of Proceeding in the Legislature of the State of New York" by Sherman Croswell. This section describes the process of presenting petitions, introducing bills, and the duties of the President and the Speaker.)
