1705-04-14, Ordinance regarding the Court of Admiralty
April 14, 1705 ordinance issued by New York Gov. Edward Hyde, Count Viscount, which limited the amount of money that the officers of the Court of
Admiralty could receive in the execution of their duties; instead they were only to receive their annual salary and fees for specified actions.

Title:   An ordinance of His Excellency Edward Viscount Cornbury : captain general and governour in chief of the provinces of New-York, New-Jersey, and of all the Territories and tracts of land depending thereon in Amrrica, and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c. in Council this fourteenth day of April, 1705.
