was published by Banks & Bros. in 1883. New “editions” were issued in every year thereafter up to 1890. The 1890 edition has a two-page table inserted
after p. ii entitled “Amendments to the code of civil procedure made in 1884, 1885, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1889 and 1890.” It does not appear from internal
evidence that there is any other difference among the separate annual “editions” beyond the insertion of this amendments table.)
