New York Court of Appeals Reports, Record and Briefs, 1847- (These records and briefs were scanned from the hardcopy in cooperation with Google.
Materials began appearing online in October, 2011. The scanning work has been generally chronological, starting with the oldest cases. As of May 2014,
cases records comprising roughly 5,500 volumes and 3.3-million pages were available, with additional data being added continuously. The prospects for
the LLMC/Google partnership is that all paper records will be scanned for the period 1874-1959. LLMC is exploring other partnerships to address the
digitization of the NY records and briefs post-1959 that are currently held in microfilm and microfiche format.)
