1821, New York Con. Conv. Journal
Journal of the State of New York Constitutional Convention which was held in Albany beginning August 28, 1821. The Journal was printed by Cantine &
Leake, state printers in Albany in 1821. Included in the journal (beginning page 551) was the list of votes for and against the adoption of the new
constitution. Of note, Martin Van Buren, then a state senator from Otsego was a signatory of this amended constitution (p. 556). (Source of the
