June 12, 1775 broadside issued by John Hancock, president of the Continental Congress that recommended June 20th as a public day of prayer and fasting for the benefit of resolving the discord between the colonies and Great Britain. Of note, there are two other variants, both printed in Philadelphia and in LLMC at #24950 & 24951. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library (c.1), and the American Antiquarian Society Library in Worcester, Massachusetts (c.2)).
