1696-04-21, Requesting men to enlist
Two copies of an April 21, 1696 Broadside which sought to induce men to join the military by providing an incentive of three pounds upon enlisting
for a year's service, and four pence per day paid above their provisions. Gov. Benjamin Fletcher proclamation served to enlarge the military numbers,
