Pamphlet entitled "Commercial Conduct of the Province of New York Considered, and the true inerest of that Colony attempted to be shown," which was printed for the Society of Arts, Agriculture, and Oeconomy, of New-York in 1767. The document urged more manufacturing, particularly of linen, in order to reduce imports from such places as India, China, and Europe, as well as to increase exports.
