The Statute laws of the State of Connecticut, as revised by the General Assembly in May 1821, as well as a copy of the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitutions of the United States of America and Connecticut. In addition, the preface contained a short history of the state. The acts are alphabetized by topic, as stated in the Table of Contents at the beginning of this volume; there was also a subject matter index at the end.
