Bank Commissioners. Special report, 1840
|

House No. 67 On Mach 20, 1840, the Council sent the Legislature a special report from the Bank Commissioners. The Commissioners had completed their
examination of all the state's banks and savings institutions. Banks that had recently closed were slowly collecting their outstanding loans and
closing their books--there was some detail about each institution. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State
Library).
