To the Honorable Senate, and House of Representatives: On the 1st instant, the sum of $55,550 35 was received of Hon. Josiah Quincy, Jr., treasurer of the Western Railroad Corporation, being the profits on the sale of a portion of the scrip issued under the "act to aid the construction of the Western Rail-road," approved February 21st, 1838.
