Forty-fifth Legislature. Senate. No. 8. The Committee on Railroads, Ways, and Bridges submitted: An Act to incorporate the International Telegraph
Company, 1866. Eight men were incorporated as above, subject to the usual laws on corporations. The company was to construct and maintain poles
and wires between the east and west boundaries of the state. It could connect with other companies' lines within or without the state. (Digitized
