Senate. Comm. on State Lands and State Roads. Amount of appropriations made for the benefit of Aroostook County, 1866
Forty-fifth Legislature. Senate. No. 3. On January 25, 1866, in response to a request for information, the Committee on State Lands and State Roads
submitted a report about the amounts of state money spent in Aroostook County from its incorporation to 1865. There were three schedules: Schedule
A was for money spent on north/south roads, Schedule B was for money spent on east/west roads, and Schedule C was for money spent on road maintenance
for a total of $99,221. Additional figures were for money given to academies. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Maine
