SEE ALSO 56421 Forty-fifth Legislature. House. No. 12. The Committee on Railroads, Ways, and Bridges presented: An Act to extend the time for
completion of the European and North American Railway and to enlarge the powers of said company, 1866. The act added one year to the time to get the
tracks to Lincoln and the company was allowed to alter the route, if necessary. Two more years were allowed to get to New Brunswick. It could sell its
railroad or buy additional connecting roads. Financial directions were included. Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the
Maine Historical Society Library, the Maine State Library, and the Library of Congress).
