SEE ALSO 56552 Forty-fourth Legislature. Senate. No. 2. An Act to supply the inhabitants of Bangor with pure water, 1865. Four men were
incorporated as the Bangor Water Company to supply Bangor with pure water and create a supply for fire fighting, with further instructions about what it could
do in the community. The company could hold real estate up to $300,000. They had authority to use the water in Pushaw Pond [in the other bill, this
was forbidden] and to take land for laying piping. The company had six months to file a plan and five years to be up and running. Digitized from a
