Forty-fourth Legislature. House. No. 48. The Committee on the Insane Hospital explained its Resolve. The worthy institution desperately needed another wing. An architect had submitted plans with an estimate of $36,000 for construction. [sadly, not attached] It would take two years to build the space, so time was of the essence. Resolve in favor of the Insane Hospital. The sum of $20,000 [not $36,000] be appropriated for a new wing.
