Forty-third Legislature. Senate. No. 9. An Act to incorporate the Bangor and Brewer Street Railroad Company, 1864. Five men were incorporated as
above to construct a horse powered railroad through the streets of Bangor to Brewer Village. The company had to follow the usual rules for
corporations. It could have capital stock up to $100,000 in shares of $100 each, but no fractional shares. It could issue construction bonds. (Digitized from a
