Forty-second Legislature. House. No. 9. Resolves providing for an amendment of the Constitution relating to the elective franchise. Two-thirds of
both branches of the Legislature, concurring, if a member of the military was in service away from the state in November, he could vote for a defined
list of offices in September or October. The vote on the amendment would occur in the next September and votes counted by mid-October. (Digitized
