June 3, 1846 report of House Committee on Elections regarding the contested election of Henry Colburn or Mr. Hersey from the town of Belfast. The issue concerned Colburn's residence in Belfast versus New York after his election in 1845. After his departure for New York, another election occurred, selecting Hersey.
