(An additional editor for Vol. 2-3 is David F. Rosenthal. While both the spines and the title pages of the volumes contain the short legend “Illinois
Circuit Court Reports,” the rest of the title makes clear that the scope of coverage is much wider. In fact, the coverage in Vol. 2-3 is expanded to
include the federal courts in Illinois. Both Hicks, 1923 ed., and Price and Bittner, 1953 ed., list this title as having four volumes. However, legal
reference sources in Illinois have assured LLMC that there were, in fact, only three volumes.)
