A manuscript collection of Florida governors' letterbooks, beginning in 1836. The correspondence covered a number of governors, both when a
territory and a state. Of note, the collection included letters to persons such as Jefferson Davis, and other state governors, as well as proclamations and
other official letters and notices. In addition, there were letters to constituents, editors of newspapers and others. (Source of the digitized
