Harris, Treatise on the Law of Contracts by Married Women, 19
A Treatise on the Law of Contracts by Married Women: their capacity to contract in relation to their separate statutory legal estates under American
statutes, written by George E. Harris and published in 1887. This treatise was generally focused on the laws following "enabling" statutes, which
were passed by many states to allow a married woman title to her own wages. The table of contents provided sections, not pages for the various chapters
and subsections. Of note, the scanning of some pages cut off the edges, making the last or first word in a line somewhat difficult to read.
Title:   A treatise on the law of contracts by married women : their capacity to contract in relation to their separate statutory legal estates, under American statutes / by George E. Harris of the bar of Washington, D.C., Ex M.C. and late Attorney General of Miss.
