Edward Jacob. Published in two volumes by Joseph Butterworth and Son (London 1826). Vol. I (632+xix p.) includes a Preface by the author, and
chapters I-XII on rights of curtesy, dower, legal jointures and related matters. Vol. II (587+xi p.) includes Chapter XIII-XXII on the wife’s rights in the
husband’s personal estate, disabilities of coverture, effects of marriage on prior acts; gifts and allowances by the husband, separation between
husband and wife, among other topics; an Appendix (legal forms) and Addenda. Each volume has a table of contents. Vol. II has a Table of the Names of Cases
and an Index for both volumes.
