American and British Claims Arbitration: Award the R.T. Roy: Claim No. 17: 3p., Place of publication and publisher not identified, 1925. (The award in a case involving the seizure of an American fishing vessel on Lake Huron by a Canadian inspector of Fisheries on June 25, 1908. The U.S. contended that the seizure took place in American waters and His Majesty’s Government that is was in Canadian waters. The Tribunal points to the fact that claimant’s representative withdrew the ship from the only jurisdiction where the matter could be dealt with and did not find Canadian authorities had abandoned the seizure at the time the withdrawal took place. The U.S. claim was disallowed. The U.S. Memorial is LLMC 11040 and the U.S. Reply is LLMC 11041.)
