June 22, 1775 broadside issued by the Continental Congress, resolving the form and amount of paper money to be used in the colonies. The resolutions

In Congress, Thursday, June 22, 1775 : Resolved, that a sum not exceeding two millions of Spanish mill'd dollars be emitted by the Congress in bills of credit for the defence of America.
