A Treatise on the Law of Marriage, Divorce, Separation, and Domestic Relations, sixth edition, authored by James Schouler and Arthur W. Blakemore, and published in 1921. The first volume covered the law of domestic relations, which included husband and wife, parent and child, guardian and ward, and as well as other topics. The second volume contained the law of marriage and divorce, as well as alienation of affection, curtesy and dower, and other topics. The third volume contained all the state divorce laws in the then United States (48 states), as well as those in Hawaii, Alaska, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The pages are consecutive throughout the volumes. There are separate table of contents for each volume, as well as a separate index for each of the first two volumes. A general index for the treatise is found at the end of volume 3.
