Decisions on the Law of Patents for Inventions Rendered by the United States Supreme Court, Edited and Annotated by Woodbury Lowery. Published in 20 volumes by Charles R. Brodix (Washington 1887-1892). The spine of volumes states: “Brodix’s American and English Patent Cases.” Vols. 1-3 are Decisions by English Courts, 1602-1843, compiled by Benjamin Vaughan Abbott. Volumes of English cases contain the full text of decisions and alphabetical and chronological tables of cases and a topical index. Cases are arranged chronologically. The volumes of American cases (vols. 4-20) include a statement of the case and the arguments of counsel, and head-notes and annotations and notes with the text of the decisions. Each American volume includes tables of patents, citations and abbreviations, and a topical Index Digest and an Index to Notes. Drawings and illustrations are included in the cases.
