Special Joint Comm. on Public Lands of the United States. Resolves, 1836
Senate No. 32 On January 16, 1836, the Governor's remarks on public lands were referred to a joint committee of five men. On February 12, 1836, the
committee sent a Resolve: the Legislature approves the principles of a bill before Congress to distribute proceeds of the sale of public lands among
the states of the Union, 1836. The Governor was to communicate this to the Congressional delegation for action. [Not the sale of Massachusetts public

Title:   Ordered, that so much of the governor's address as relates to the public lands of the United States, be referred to Messrs. Gray and Marston, with such as the house may join.
