House. Act concerning county commissioners, 1834
House No. 70 An Act concerning County Commissioners, 1834. Each County would elect three Commissioners for three year terms. There were directions
for counting the votes. If any of the candidates did not have a majority of the votes, the Governor and Council would examine the returns and
appoint the Commissioners. Two Special Commissioners would be chosen to fill vacancies, etc. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by
the Massachusetts State Library).
