City of Bangor to further aid the construction of the European and North American Railway, 1866. The city could add up to $500,000 to its previous
arrangement to help the Company continue construction under certain conditions, mostly revolving around completing track to specific places. There were
several pages about the finances and how to handle a possible default by the railroad. Bangor citizens had to vote to accept the act. Digitized from
