|
|
Thirty-ninth Legislature. House. No. 31. Resolve in relation to an uniform decimal system of weights, measures, and currencies [1860] There were many methods of weighing and measuring in the world. It was in everyone's best interest to move to a decimal system, so Congress should offer a prize to the person who developed a coherent system. There should be a Commission to manage the system. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
