**Thirty-ninth Legislature. House. No. 13. An Act in addition to ... an act to authorize certain cities and towns to grant aid in the construction and completion of the Kennebec and Portland Railroad approved April 17, 1850, 1860. If the commissioners of the sinking fund thought the cities and towns should take control of the railroad to protect their mortgage interest, the text set up the process, directed how to take care of the money, and once the mortgage was satisfied, to return the railroad to its lawful owner.
