Thirty-ninth Legislature. House. No. 12. An Act to incorporate the Somerset Railroad Company, 1860. Nineteen men were incorporated as above to
build a railroad in Somerset County with the usual rights and responsibilities. Toll was granted and the company had to carry mail if asked. It had to
keep good records. It had until 1865 to acquire all the land it needed and had to have the railroad running by 1869. (Digitized from a microfilm
