January 28, 1766 series of correspondence between the Lieutenant Governor William Bull of South Carolina, Peter Randolph of the Customs House, and the South Carolina Common House of Assembly. The exchanges were regarding petitions from various merchants concerning custom houses and the opening of the port. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Connecticut Historical Society Library).

South-Carolina. In the Commons House of Assembly, the 3d of February, 1766 : Ordered, that the petition of the merchants, owners, and masters of the vessels now in Charles-Town, with the instrument of writing from a notary, thereunto annexed, and the several messages, letters and papers accompanying the said messages, and every other matter relating to the said petition, be printed and made public.
