1756-06-03, Pennsylvania. Notice of peace with the Indians in Sasquehannah
June 3, 1767 proclamation issued by Lt. Gov. Robert Hunter Morris of Pennsylvania, announcing the cessation of hostilities with the Delaware Indians;
and that peace established between the Six Nations, as well as Pennsylvania, and the hostile tribes, on the east side of Sasquehannah River.

Given under my hand, and the great seal of the said province, at Philadelphia, this third day of June ... one thousand seven hundred and fifty-six ...
