1774-10-20, Establishment of an Association among the colonies
|
|
October 20, 1774 resolution of the Continental Congress supporting the establishment of an Association among the colonies. The document also contained the Association's agreement, which included an embargo of British and Irish goods, and a discontinuation of the slave-trade and purchase of imported tea. Of note, the second page of the broadside has legibility issues due to bleed-through of the page and missing text. See LLMC #20809 for a related document.
